    • PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition using a Coptidis Rhizoma extract containing a substance capable of inhibiting the action of dopamine which is increased by repeated administration of a toxic drug such as cocaine is provided. Therefore, the composition is effective in prevention and treatment of drug addiction. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition contains a Coptidis Rhizoma extract obtained by extracting Coptidis Rhizoma with 80% methanol in a water bath, followed by concentration under reduced pressure and freeze-drying. The Coptidis Rhizoma extract can specifically inhibit the increase of locomotor activity and the expression of c-fos as an indicator of nerve activity in nucleus accumbens and striatum as a portion related with drug addiction. The composition can be applied to all of the drug addiction which cause the increase of dopamine, but not limited to, cocaine addiction.

CONSTITUTION: The automatic massage physical medicine apparatus by the eccentric movement of the supersonic horn includes a suction cup(100), a treating catheter(200), a treating catheter rotary device(300), a main control device(400) and a suction cable. The suction cup(100) has the shape of cupping glass with the top open and is fixed closely to the affected part by suction. The treating catheter(200) performs the eccentric rotary movement in the suction cup and performs the supersonic massage function by generating a supersonic vibration energy into the affected part. The main control device(400) measures the internal pressure to control the suction action, controls the drive of the treating catheter rotary device, and provides the electric power to the catheter to control the generation of the supersonic wave.
