    • PURPOSE: A drowsy driving prevention device and a method are provided to prevent judgment errors on a drowsy driving state by an individual pulse deviation by extracting a valid pulse data of a driver and by judging the drowsy driving state. CONSTITUTION: A drowsy driving prevention device comprises a first sensing or transmitting unit(10), a second sensing or transmitting unit(20), and a drowsy driving state judging or warning unit(30). The first sensing or transmitting unit is mounted in order to be closely attached to radial artery of a driver. The first sensing or transmitting unit senses and transmits a first signal including a pulse signal and a first noise signal of the driver. The second sensing or transmitting unit is mounted on a point separated from the radial artery of the driver. The second sensing or transmitting unit senses and transmits a second signal comprised of a second noise signal. The drowsy driving state judging or warning unit is operated by using the second signal. The drowsy driving state judging or warning unit extracts valid pulse data by removing the first noise signal from the first signal.
