    • A pigment dispersion is provided to exhibit proper optical density required for a light-shielding layer, to prevent residue generation in forming black matrix patterns and to form patterns cleanly. A pigment dispersion comprises carbon black, polymer type dispersant, acrylic binder resin and organic solvent. When the shaken composition is coated on the surface of a polyethylene terephthalate film inclined toward 45° in a traverse direction and then is dried, the formed film has less than 10 of protrusions and 80 or more of glossiness. The carbon black is included in the amount of 10-40 weight% based on the pigment dispersion. The polymer type dispersant is included in the amount of 10-55 weight% based on the carbon black. The acrylic binder resin is included in the amount of 1-20 weight% based on the pigment dispersion. The organic solvent is included in the amount of 50-90 weight% based on the pigment dispersion.

The chemical formula 1 is NiX2, wherein X is the halogen atom or the alkyl group having 1~10 hydrogens. The chemical formula 2 is (R1NiX)2, wherein X is the halogen atom or the alkyl group having 1~10 hydrogens, R1 is a C3~C12 alkyl group. The chemical formula 3 is R2mNiX2, wherein X is the halogen atom or the alkyl group having 1~10 hydrogens, R2 is (alkyl or aryl) nitrile or cyclodiene, and m is 1 or 2.

    • A method for preparing a norbornene-ester monomer is provided to enhance a content of an exo isomer in the product even if the reaction is performed in a milder condition and suppress the formation of byproducts effectively. A method for preparing a norbornene-ester monomer by a Diels-Alder reaction of a cyclopentadiene and an alkyl(meth)acrylate compound comprises the steps of: pyrolyzing a dicyclopentadiene at 160°C or higher to obtain the cyclopentadiene; and directly adding the obtained cyclopentadiene to the alkyl(meth)acrylate compound dissolved in a solvent. The cyclopentadiene and alkyl(meth)acrylate compound are reacted in a molar ratio of 1:1-10 at 0-40°C for 0.5-5hours.
