The water-course type of microalgal outdoor culture vessel consists of: a mass-culture vessel(10) where microalgae are stored and mass-cultured; and an inoculum culture vessel(20) where the inoculum inoculated at an early stage for mass-producing of the microalage is cultured, and is characterized in that the inoculum culture vessel is installed at the inside of the mass-culture vessel to allow the inoculum from the inoculum culture vessel to be directly input to the mass-culture vessel through an inoculum inlet(47) installed at one side of the inoculum culture vessel.

    • PURPOSE: A microorganism Sphingobium sp. having polychlorinated biphenyls(PCB) degrading activity and a method for removing polychlorinated biphenyls(PCB) using the same microorganism are provided, thereby environment-friendly removing PCB which are harmful environmental hormones generated from the wastewater, sewage, sea water or soil. CONSTITUTION: The microorganism Sphingobium yanoikuyae KMG425(KCTC 10438BP) having activity which decomposes and removes polychlorinated biphenyls(PCB) is provided, wherein Sphingobium yanoikuyae KMG425(KCTC 10438BP) is isolated from wastewater in industrial area. The method for removing polychlorinated biphenyls(PCB) comprises adding Sphingobium yanoikuyae KMG425(KCTC 10438BP) into the PCB pollution source, wherein Sphingobium yanoikuyae KMG425(KCTC 10438BP) is added in a form selected from medium-cultured form, freeze-dried form and carrier-immobilized form.

    • PURPOSE: A novel microorganism, Rhodococcus pyridinovorans PDB9, decomposing aromatic compounds is provided, thereby the polluted environments can be effectively purified without causing second pollution. CONSTITUTION: The novel microorganism, Rhodococcus pyridinovorans PDB9 (KCTC 0647BP), having the base sequence of 16S rRNA represented by SEQ ID NO: 1 decomposes aromatic compounds comprising pyridine, 2-ethylpyridine, 2-methylpyridine, 2,4-dimethylpyridine, 2,4,6-trimethylpyridine, phenol, aniline, benzene, o-chloroaniline, o-cresol, cyclohexanol, 3,4-dihydroxybenzoic acid, 2-nitrobenzoic acid, quinoline, and 4-quinoline. The aromatic compounds are decomposed by incubating Rhodococcus pyridinovorans PDB9 (KCTC 0647BP) at 30 to 37 deg. C and pH 7.5 to 8.5.
