摘要： PURPOSE: A melting method and a melting apparatus for manufacturing a weather strip of a vehicle are provided to effectively bond both ends of the weather strip and to prevent burrs at a bonding portion by manufacturing the weather strip in a thermal melting process. CONSTITUTION: One end of a weather strip is fixedly inserted into the first mold(10) such that one end of the weather strip is exposed to one side. The other end of the weather strip is fixedly inserted into the second mold(20) such that the other end of the weather strip is exposed to an opposite side of the first mold(10). A rubber plate feeding device is provided to feed rubber plates towards the weather strip positioned between the first and second molds(10,20). The first mold(10) is closely attached to the second mold(20) about the rubber plate by an attaching device. A heating section is provided to supply heat to both ends of the weather strip.
