    • PURPOSE: An apparatus for separating needle-shaped slag from granulated ferronickel slag is provided to increase the eliminating efficiency of the needle-shaped slag by rapidly implementing a separating process. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for separating needle-shaped slag from granulated ferronickel slag includes a housing(110), a first inlet(120), a second inlet(130), a first outlet(140), and a second outlet(150). The upper side of the housing is cylindrical. The lower side of the housing is composed of a conical-shaped cone part(111). A space is formed in the housing. A first inlet is vertically formed at the upper side of the housing, and granulated ferronickel slag is introduced through the first inlet. A second inlet is formed to the perpendicular direction of the upper side of the housing, and water is introduced through the second inlet. The first outlet is formed to the tangential direction of another upper side of the housing. Needle-shaped ferronickel slag is discharged through the first outlet. Remaining coarse ferronickel slag is discharged through the second outlet.
