    • An apparatus and a method for precisely measuring the thickness of a steel plate are provided to adjust output of a high voltage supplied to an ion-chamber and an amplification rate of a fine current value using a computer and a feedback controller. An apparatus for precisely measuring the thickness of a steel plate includes a plurality of ion-chambers(32a-32d), a computer(60), a LAN cable(80), and a detector controller(100). The ion-chambers and the detector controller are disposed in a carrier of the apparatus. The computer is installed at the exterior of the carrier. The LAN cable communicates the computer with the detector controller. Electrical signals between the ion-chambers and the detector controller are completely and electrically isolated from a fine current supplied from the ion chambers to obtain data depending on measured thickness of the steel plate.

    • A ripple voltage measuring method, a ripple voltage measuring circuit, and a measuring apparatus using the circuit are provided to accurately analyze a ripple component in real-time by using an amplifier and a true RMS converter. A ripple voltage measuring circuit includes a first amplifier(210), a true RMS(Root Mean Square) converter(250), an amplifier(220), a third amplifier(230), and a fourth amplifier(240). The first amplifier receives a voltage signal, which is inputted from an input terminal(260). The true RMS converter extracts a DC component from an output from the first amplifier. The second amplifier inverts an output from the true RMS converter. The third amplifier adds the output signals from the first and second amplifiers and inverts the added result. The fourth amplifier inverts and amplifies the output from the third amplifier and outputs the result through an output terminal(262).

    • PURPOSE: A circuit for sensing an over-current and a method thereof are provided to improve the stability of an electronic device by safely sensing an over-current flowing in a high voltage line more than 20kV. CONSTITUTION: An over-current sensing circuit comprises an optical signal generator(100) and an output part(200). The optical signal generator generates an optical signal by detecting an over current flowing in a current line of an electronic device. The optical signal generator comprises a current sense resistor(Rs) and an optical signal transmission module(Q1). The current sense resistor is arranged in the current line. The optical signal transmission module is turned on in order to transmit an optical signal when a voltage applied to the current sense resistor is greater than an operation threshold voltage. An output part generates an output due to a power current after receiving the optical signal.

The weight calculating section(230) calculates weights of the belt and the raw material.

A measuring apparatus of thickness of a rolled workpiece(200) comprises: a sensor part(110) for detecting thickness of the rolled workpiece and an end portion of the rolled workpiece; a sensor moving part(120) for moving the sensor part; a laser irradiating part(130) joined with the sensor part to irradiate a laser onto the rolled workpiece in the width direction with respect to a predetermined region including the end portion of the rolled workpiece; a laser detecting part(140) joined with the laser irradiating part to detect the laser irradiated onto the rolled workpiece; and a control part for moving the sensor part to the width directional inner side of the rolled workpiece as long as a first distance by controlling the sensor moving part when the end portion of the rolled workpiece is detected, and for controlling a movement of the sensor part through the sensor moving part such that the laser detected by the laser detecting part maintains a predetermined length. The laser detecting part includes a CCD camera for photographing a region of the rolled workpiece on which the laser has been projected, and detects a position of the laser that has been photographed by the CCD camera. The control part moves the sensor part according to the photographed position of the laser, and measures thickness of the rolled workpiece by following a position that is within the first distance from the end portion of the rolled workpiece in the width direction.

CONSTITUTION: A method for measuring thickness by using X-ray comprises a first stage controlling reference power of a process amplifier to prevent a signal from being inclined to a negative direction; a second stage amplifying X-ray detecting signal by dividing a low thickness measuring signal and a high thickness measuring signal; a third stage setting pattern by controlling the X-ray measured signal to prevent thickness of a steel plate form changing; a forth stage establishing thickness of an amplify controlling piece; and a fifth stage selecting an output signal of the amplifier. Thereby, the method for measuring the thickness by using the X-ray exactly measures the thickness of the steel plate.
