    • PURPOSE: A heaving compensation device is provided to increase reliability with respect to heaving compensation by installing a cylinder for heaving compensation and an auxiliary structure for a crown block in a conventional heaving compensation device. CONSTITUTION: A heaving compensation device includes a crown block(30), a vertical moving member(60), an upper cylinder(10), a supporting unit(15), a lower cylinder(20), and a pair of rocker arms(50). The crown block includes at least two sheaves and moves upward and downward a traveling block, which is connected with a wire, by the wire winding on the sheave. The vertical moving member stably moves upward and downward the crown block. The upper cylinder has a rod connected at the upper end of the crown block. The supporting unit is connected to the upper cylinder to fix the upper cylinder. The lower cylinder is installed obliquely to the central vertical axis of the crown block. The rocker arm connects with the wire winding on the sheave of the crown block by a draw works and an anchor while compensating heave of an offshore facility for drilling.

The system for controlling the heave compensator of the offshore structure comprises: a heave motion active compensating unit which is placed in a derrick in order to actively compensate for the vertical motion of a crown block; a heave motion passive compensating unit which is placed in the derrick in order to passively compensate for the vertical motion of the crown block; and an isolation valve unit which is placed in a fluid supply line of the heave motion passive compensating unit in order to isolate the fluid supply line during emergencies, and isolates the fluid supply line using fluid supplied by at least two isolation operating units.
