    • PURPOSE: Provided is a thermoplastic polybutylene terephthalate resin composition, which has excellent hydrolysis resistance and electrical insulation property with maintaining mechanical and electrical properties under the condition of high temperature, humidity and voltage. CONSTITUTION: The polybutylene terephthalate(PBT) resin composition comprises 40-80 wt% of a polybutylene terephthalate base resin, 10-20 wt% of a flame retardant based on bisphenol-A type polycarbonate, 2-5 wt% of a supplementary flame retardant based on antimony, 0.5-3.0 wt% of an hydrolysis resistant agent based on polycarbodiimide and 10-40 wt% of a glass fiber. The PBT composition optionally further comprises an anti-dropping agent, a thermal stabilizer, a lubricant and a black master batch.

    • PURPOSE: A polycarbonate resin composition having high fluidity as well as maintaining high impact resistance in a state of plate molded products by adding modified olefin rubber and aliphatic acid ester to a polycarbonate composition is provided, which is suitable for injecting material having a thin and complicated structure. CONSTITUTION: This carbonate resin composition contains 20 to 40% by weight of ethylene propylene rubber, 0.2 to 3% by weight of modified olefin rubber grafted with an aromatic vinyl monomer and a cyanided vinyl monomer and 0.5 to 5% by weight of aliphatic acid ester. The polycarbonate resin is linear or branched resin polymerized from a bisphenol-A monomer and has a viscosity molecular weight of 18,000 to 28,000.

    • A thermoplastic resin composition is provided to compensate abrasion property of a polyetherester elastomer and high hardness and high impact at low temperature of a thermoplastic polyurethane. A thermoplastic resin composition with high hardness and impact at low temperature comprises polycarbonate 15~35 weight%, polybutylene terephthalate 5~15 weight%, polyetherester elastomer 30~50 weight% and polyurethane 20~30 weight%. The polyetherester elastomer and polyurethane have shore hardness of 45~55D and the resin composition has shore hardness of 65~70D. The resin composition comprises at least one kind of additive 0.001-1 parts by weight selected from the group consisting of an antioxidant, UV stabilizer, an activator and pigment.

    • PURPOSE: A preparation method of EPDM rubber reinforced polyamide 12 copolymer by using laurel lactam, a monomer of polyamide 12 instead of polyamide 12 and blending an excess catalyst with EPDM rubber is provided which improves impact strength, tensile strength and bending strength and shortens the processing time. CONSTITUTION: A process is disclosed for making ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber reinforced polyamide 12 copolymer which comprises: pouring (A)laurel lactam instead of polyamide 12; (B)2-20 wt.% of EPDM rubber substituted a functional group for anhydrous maleic acid based on 100 wt.% of laurel lactam; (C)0.3-2.1 moles of alkaline metal catalyst based on 100 moles of laurel lactam; (D)0.2-2.0 moles of normal acetyl carprolactam initiator based on 100 moles of laurel lactam into a twin screw extruder, with the proviso that when the catalyst and the initiator are poured simultaneously into the extruder with laurel lactam and EPDM, larger quantity of catalyst than the initiator is poured in it.
