    • The present invention relates to a seismic reinforcement method for existing reinforced concrete moment frame buildings to improve the strength, the stiffness, and the seismic performance of an existing reinforced concrete moment frame building by integrating a steel concrete composite reinforcing member with the structural member of the existing reinforced concrete moment frame building such as a school building having a long longitudinal side. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the seismic reinforcement method for existing reinforced concrete moment frame buildings comprises a step of chipping the exposure of reinforcing target column and beam (a); a step of installing a connector on the exposure of the column except for the joint (b); a step of installing an anchor bolt on the exposure of the beam and on the joint between the column and the beam at regular intervals (c); a step of attaching an H-beam to the exposure of the joint between the column and the beam and attaching a vibration damper to both ends of the H-beam on the exposure of the beam and to the H-beam on the outer side of the vibration damper in order (d); a step of pouring concrete to a filler placing space (e); a step of joining a first permanent form to the connector to cover the column and the beam except for the joint (f); a step of joining a second permanent form having the same cross-section as the first permanent form to the connector to cover the exposure of the joint between the column of the beam (g); and a step of placing a filler in the filler placing space between the first and second permanent forms (h).

According to an appropriate embodiment of the present invention, the seismic retrofit method for an existing reinforced concrete moment frame building by section enlargement comprises the steps of: roughening the exposed surface of a structural member to be reinforced in an existing reinforced concrete moment frame building; fixing a connection member, which includes a pair of longitudinal members installed in parallel along the axis of the structural member to be reinforced with a predetermined gap therebetween and a plurality of transverse members installed in parallel in the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal members with a predetermined gap therebetween to connect the pair of longitudinal members, to the roughened exposed surface of the structural member to be reinforced along the axis of the structural member to be reinforced; coupling a permanent form, which has a U-shaped cross section, to the connection member to cover the exposed surface of the structural member to be reinforced while forming a filler casting space between the permanent form and the exposed surface of the structural member to be reinforced; and casting a filler in the filler casting space between the permanent form and the exposed surface of the structural member to be reinforced.
