    • PURPOSE: A method for preparing the cathode for a battery is provided, to charging materials for an anode uniformly, to improve the formability and the adhesive power and to allow anodes to be produced continuously by increasing the flowability. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of stirring a carbon material with a mixture solvent of isopropyl alcohol and water, adding a binder to the mixture and re-stirring the mixture to prepare a paste for a cathode; drying the paste and pulverizing it to prepare the powder for a cathode; adding a plasticizer to the powder, rotating the mixture in a mixer to prepare the granule for a cathode; pressing the granule on both sides of an anode base by using a roller to cote the anode base with the granule; leaching the plasticizer from the coated one by using distilled water; and re-drying the anode plate and re-pressing it. Preferably the plasticizer is poly(ethylene glycol), and 0.05-250 wt% of plasticizer is employed based on the total weight.

    • 본 발명은 양극합제에 가소제인 폴리에틸렌 글리콜(Polyethylene Glycol)을 포함시켜 성형성을 양호하게 함과 동시에 결착력을 향상시키고, 합제 충진을 균일하게 하여 양극합제의 탈리 현상을 없애고, 합제를 과립으로 만들어 유동성을 증가시킴으로써 연속적인 자동 극판 제조가 가능할 수 있도록 하는 전지 양극의 제조방법에 관한 것이다.
      구체적으로 본 발명은, 카본재와 바인더, 물, 소량의 이소프로필 알콜에 가소제인 폴리에틸렌 글리콜을 혼합하여 양극합제로 하고, 과립 형태가 전체 양극합제의 50% 이상이 되도록 제형을 형성시켜 양극기재에 자동 연속으로 압연`코팅함으로써 극판을 제조한 후, 증류수로 폴리에틸렌글리콜을 침출시키고 건조 및 재압연하는 것으로 이루어지는 전지 양극의 제조방법에 관한 것이다.

CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of stirring a carbon material with a mixture solvent of isopropyl alcohol and water, adding a binder to the mixture and re-stirring the mixture to prepare a paste for a cathode; drying the paste and pulverizing it to prepare powder; rotating the powder in a mixer to prepare granule for a cathode; pressing the granule on both sides of a cathode base by using a roller to cote the cathode base with the granule; and drying the coated cathode plate at a temperature of 100-200 deg.C and re-pressing it. Preferably the particle size of the granule is 30-250 micrometers.

    • PURPOSE: Provided is a safety vent for a battery, which can prevent the explosion of the battery when the internal pressure of the battery raises and can be also used for a battery with a small outer diameter. CONSTITUTION: The safety vent for the battery is produced by a process comprising the steps of: forming a vent hole at the bottom of a metal case(10) of the battery; preparing a vent plate(20) having a vent(21); welding the vent plate(20) to the outside of the vent hole; coating the welded part of the vent plate(20) with a phenol resin. The vent plate(20) has a thickness of 0.03-0.1mm and the vent groove has the depth of 0.01-0.09mm and the width of 0.05-1mm.
