    • PURPOSE: A separation and recovery method separating hydrogen fluoride from fluorine-containing compound is provided to substantially separate and recover hydrogen fluoride harmful to a human body and the environment due to a high separation and recovery rate of hydrogen fluoride, thereby securing the safety of a future landfill and preventing destruction of the environment. CONSTITUTION: A separation and recovery method separating hydrogen fluoride from a fluorine-containing compound comprises the following steps. A by-product which is generated after disintegrating a fluorine-containing compound into supercritical water is contacted with an absorber, and only hydrogen fluoride is firstly separated and recovered from the by-product. The remainder hydrogen fluoride which is not separated and recovered at the previous step is secondly separated and recovered. The absorber is at least one selected from the group composed of active alumina and silica gel. An absorption liquid is at least one selected from the group composed of water and boric acid.
