    • PURPOSE: A single and multi channel regenerative electronic load device for saving electric energy is provided to remarkably reduce power consumption and heat. CONSTITUTION: An electronic load device includes a power source(10), a power device(20) under test, a regenerative load(30) and an addition control unit(40). The power source includes an AC/DC converter which operates in a constant voltage mode and converts AC inputted to an input terminal of the AC/DC converter into DC. The power device under test is driven with the received DC. The regenerative load includes a DC/DC converter which operates in a constant current mode and feeds back the power outputted from the power device under test to the input terminal of the regenerative load and the output terminal of the power source. The addition control unit receives feedback power outputted from the regenerative load and sense power consumed in the regenerative load. The addition control unit calculates power for driving the power source under test, receives the shortage power from the power source, and adds the received power to the feedback power outputted from the regenerative load.
