    • A refrigerator and a method of manufacturing the same are provided to improve operational efficiency of the refrigerator by individually or simultaneously controlling the temperature of a refrigerating compartment and a storage compartment. A refrigerator comprises a body(1), a cool-air generating room(20) having a fan(141), a division plate(100), a damper(130), a cool-air control member(150) and a guide part(140). The body has a refrigerating room(10) and a storage room(30) installed on the refrigerating room. The division plate separates the refrigerating room from the cool-air generating room, and includes a main passage(110) for guiding cool-air into the refrigerating room and a bypass passage(120) for guiding cooling air into the storage room. The damper opens/closes the main passage. The cool-air control member selectively opens the bypass passage. The guide part is connected with the main passage and the bypass passage.

A fan unit(200) selectively opens the main passage and the bypass passage to selectively supply the cold air to the refrigerator compartment and the storeroom. The fan unit includes a fan and an opening/closing unit.

The guide pipe path is formed by being extended from the scroll guide, and has predetermined curvature according to a rotation direction of the fan. The cooling air duct is connected to the guide pipe path, and supplies the cooling air to the freezer compartment or the refrigerator compartment.
