    • PURPOSE: A dye sensitized solar cell and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to simplify a manufacturing process by interposing electrolyte between a first substrate and a second substrate without an injection hole for injecting the electrolyte. CONSTITUTION: A first electrode is formed on a first substrate(110) and is transparent. A second electrode is formed on the inner side of the second substrate. An active pattern(115) is made of a plurality of nano particles coated with dye. An adhesive pattern(170) surrounds the active pattern and includes an opening part along the edges between the first substrate and the second substrate. An electrolyte layer is interposed between the active pattern and the second electrode. A sealing pattern is formed on the edge between the first substrate and the second substrate to seal the opening part of the adhesive pattern.

    • PURPOSE: A solar cell and a method for fabricating the same are provided to reduce a process for manufacturing a large size of a module by combining a positive electrode and a negative electrode through liquid sealant. CONSTITUTION: An opposite electrode(120) is separated from a semiconductor electrode. An electrolyte(131) is interposed between the semiconductor electrode and the opposite electrode. A liquid sealant is formed around a region having no electrolyte. The semiconductor electrode is comprised of a conductive substrate, a transparent conductive layer, and a transition metal oxide layer. The transparent conductive layer has doped Fluorine or is comprised of F-doped SnO2(FTO), Sn-doped In2O3, ITO(indium tin oxide), SnO, and ZnO. The opposite electrode is comprised of a conductive substrate, a transparent conductive layer, and a platinum layer(125).
