    • An in-line annealing apparatus for an ultrafine wire is provided to prevent disconnection of the wire due to melting or carbonization of the wire by injecting compressed air onto an outer wall of a pipe in which a wire is led, thereby lowering temperature of the pipe instantaneously. In an in-line annealing apparatus(100) for imparting ductility to a work-hardened wire to draw a ultrafine wire, the in-line annealing apparatus for the ultrafine wire comprises: a pipe(110) having an inlet(111) in which the wire is led and an outlet(112) from which the led-in wire is drawn out; a heater(130) which heats the pipe, which is spaced apart from the pipe in a predetermined distance to form a space layer(120), and which is installed to encircle the pipe; an air injection part(141) for injecting compressed air into the space layer between the pipe and the heater to lower temperature of the pipe rapidly; and an air exhaust part for exhausting the compressed air that has been injected between the pipe and the heater. The air injection part is installed at the inlet side in which the wire is led in a state that the air injection part passes through the heater. The in-line annealing apparatus further comprises a transfer unit(150) which passes through the heater and selectively injects the compressed air into the pipe to transfer the wire from the inlet to the outlet. The transfer unit is installed at the inlet side in which the wire is led.
