    • PURPOSE: A method for discriminating revision of terminal in wireless communication system, and a system thereof are provided to enhance system quality more effectively about system commercialization of sub-networks corresponding by storing statistical data according to a revision of a terminal. CONSTITUTION: A negotiation about an available protocol between a terminal and a system is proceeded(S1,S2). The negotiation result is saved in a BMP(Brew Mobile Platform) of a BSC(Base Station Controller)(S3). The BMP determines whether a protocol about at least one first sub-network is included in the negotiation result(S4). In case the terminal cancels the call after communication service, the BMP transmits the statistical data related to the call into the BSM(Base Station Manager)(S6,S7).

    • A method for controlling a data rate of a reverse supplemental channel in a mobile communication system is provided to control a data rate of a newly assigned supplemental channel without estimating a reverse load of a cell, thereby preventing deterioration of voice quality and call connection failure. When a terminal is in a handover state, the terminal calculates a reverse load by using an assignment number of a voice call and a data call about each of a cell currently receiving a service and a cell performing handover and a reverse load per a call obtained through an actual test and simulation(S14). And the terminal selects the minimum value among calculated data rates(S18). If a timer is expired, the data rate of the reverse supplemental channel is again determined(S32).
