    • The present invention relates to a method for preparing a microsphere by using a polymer having a sol-gel transition property and a microsphere prepared thereby and, more particularly, to a method for preparing a microsphere and a microsphere prepared thereby, wherein the method uses a polymer having a sol-gel transition property as a surfactant contained in an aqueous medium in which the primary emulsion is put and gelling an entire secondary emulsion formed after the primary emulsion is put by using a sol-gel transition property of the polymer used as the surfactant. Therefore, a solvent of a polymer solution for a carrier is prevented from rapidly diffusing into the aqueous medium before a microsphere is formed, and the porosity and surface roughness of the microsphere can be lowered, thereby obtaining a spherical fine particle and increasing an encapsulation rate of a physiologically active substance.
