    • PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing titanium dioxide particles and the titanium dioxide particles are provided to mass-produce titanium dioxide particles of uniform particle sizes based on a reaction at the room temperature or less. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing titanium dioxide particles includes the following: A first solution containing a titanium-containing precursor and alcohol is prepared(S100). The first solution is cooled to the room temperature or less. A second solution containing a structure directing agent, alcohol, and water is prepared(S200). The second solution is cooled to the room temperature or less. The cooled first solution and second solution are mixed and reacted at the room temperature or less to form titanium dioxide particles(S300). The sizes of the titanium dioxide particles are uniform, and the titanium dioxide particles include mesopores. The size of the titanium dioxide particles are adjusted based on one of the cooling temperature of the first solution, the cooling temperature of the second solution, and the reacting temperature or are adjusted based on the ratio of the titanium-containing precursor and the alcohol.
