摘要： PURPOSE: An image abstraction method is provided to obtain an abstract video inputted in real time by a non-photorealistic rendering technique. CONSTITUTION: An image abstraction method includes: a step of obtaining an original image; a step of obtaining an edge image from the original image through an edge detecting process; a step of obtaining a quantization image from the original image through a quantization process; and a step of obtaining an abstraction image by integrating the edge image and the quantization image. The image abstraction method further includes a step of changing a color space into a Lab color space after obtaining the original image; and a step of converting the Lab color space into a RGB color space after obtaining the abstract image.
