    • PURPOSE: A communication device and a relay device are provided to select one of plural relay nodes and receive the signals of plural signal transmission nodes in the selected relay node in order to transmit coded signals after network coding to a signal reception node at one time, thereby increasing the frequency efficiency of a collaborative communication system. CONSTITUTION: A first signal reception unit(511) receives signals from plural signal transmission nodes(531-533), and a selection unit(512) selects one of relay nodes(521-523). A second signal reception unit(515) receives a network-coded signal from a selected relay node, and a decoding unit(516) detects the signals of plural signal transmission nodes after decoding based on the signal received by first and second signal reception units.

    • A relay-based communication system for processing a signal including no cyclic prefix and a method thereof are provided to make a source node in a smaller size by obtaining transmission diversity with an antenna of a relay node. A signal receiver detects a received signal by receiving a source signal transmitted to a relay node from a source node. A signal converter(410) generates a converted received signal by extracting samples corresponding to a first time section from the received signal and adding the received signal and the extracted samples in a second time section. A relay signal generator(420) generates a relay signal cooperated with the source signal according to an SFBC(Space Frequency Block Code) scheme based on the converted signal. A signal transmitter transmits the relay signal to a target node.
