    • PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for processing calls on a communication process service between heterogeneous networks are provided to grasp the character of each subscriber call and efficiently perform cause analysis by inversely tracing the call in case that call connection fails and storing failure cause data. CONSTITUTION: If a call trace command option is received(S11), a main processing unit judges whether connection from a subscriber network to a server is normally performed when call connection is attempted according to the call connection request of a subscriber through the subscriber network(S12,S13). In case that the connection from the subscriber network to the server fails, the main processing unit judges whether a call trace data quantity is over a quantity assigned in a call trace management buffer for storing data regarding failure cause in the call trace management buffer(S21). In case that the call trace data quantity is over the quantity assigned in the buffer, the main processing unit overwrites the call trace data in a primarily stored data position(S22). In case that the call trace data quantity is not over the quantity assigned in the buffer, the main processing unit stores the call trace data in a call trace management buffer of a firmware block in sequence(S23). The main processing unit judges whether a call connection work is ended(S30). If a call trace output command is received(S41), the main processing unit outputs stored call trace information(S42).

    • PURPOSE: A call connection method for testing a communication processing system is provided to reduce testing materials and human efforts by automatically generating a call. CONSTITUTION: An operator input a command for connecting a call by an operator console(200). A main processing part in a subscriber processing part accepts the inputted command(202) and calls a function of automatic call connection in a call generating part(204). The call generating part generates a call adapted to an instruction option(206). A call processing and resources allocating part allocates internal resources and performs to process the call like an actual subscriber(207). If there is the call for requesting to connect to a heterogeneous network(208), the main processing part attempts to connect the call to an information provider and monitors whether the call connection was succeeded(210). Also, if the call connection is succeeded, dummy data is transmitted to the information provider for a call connection time(210).
