A control method of an ink jet image forming apparatus comprises a step of supplying the power to the apparatus(200); a step of controlling a nozzle driving unit of a print head in order to print a dot size pattern on a print medium(202); a step for providing the controller with the information about the measured dot area(204); a step for searching the ink temperature corresponding to the measured dot area(206); a step of recognizing the initial resistance value of a temperature sensor according the output voltage(Rh) of the temperature sensor and storing the result in a memory(208); and a step of calculating the ink temperature in measurement by applying the initial ink temperature stored in the memory and the initial resistance value(Ri) and temperature coefficient to a temperature conversion equation(210).

      본 발명에 따르면, 레이저 프린터에 사용되는 광주사 장치 또는 그 원리를 이용함으로서 짧은 시간에 불량 노즐을 정밀하게 검출할 수 있으며, 또한 잉크 토출 액적량에 무관하게 불량 노즐을 검출할 수 있다.

    • An inkjet image forming apparatus is provided to reduce affection to image due to a damaged nozzle by allowing an inkjet head having an array of nozzles slantly formed thereon to perform a pendulum movement. In an inkjet image forming apparatus, an inkjet head(5) has a nozzle(11) having the same width of a paper. An ink jet image forming apparatus comprises an ink storage(50), a print head(80) for spraying the ink provided from the ink storage to print image on a print medium, a negative pressure regulator(60) connected between the ink storage and the print head in order to regulate the negative pressure acting on the print head, and a controller controlling the operation of the negative pressure regulator.
