    • PURPOSE: A refrigerator and a control method thereof are provided to reduce energy consumption by eliminating the need to move the ice of an ice making device to check whether to be in a full-of-ice state. CONSTITUTION: A control method of a refrigerator is as follows. Whether an ice bank is in the full-of-ice state is checked by rotating the ice-making motor of an ice making device in an ice separating direction(S50). If yes, the ice-making motor checks whether the ice bank escaped from the full-of-ice state by rotating the ice making motor in the direction opposite to the ice separation direction. The ice-making motor is rotated in the ice separation direction, drives the full-of-ice sensing lever installed on the ice making device and then whether the ice bank is in the full-of-ice state is checked. If the ice-making motor rotates over a certain angle in the ice separation direction, the full-of-ice sensing lever drives. The ice-making motor is rotated in the direction opposite to the ice separation direction, drives the full-of-ice sensing lever installed on the ice making device and then whether the ice bank escaped from the full-of-ice state is checked. If the ice-making motor rotates over a certain angle in the direction opposite to the ice separation direction, the full-of-ice sensing lever drives.

The main body has a cooling chamber and a freezing chamber(30). The door opens and closes the cooling chamber and the freezing chamber. The ice making room is arranged inside the cooling chamber. The first ice making device is installed in the ice making room. The second ice making device is installed in the freezing chamber. The dispenser is installed in the door and supplies water. An apparatus for manufacturing a rotor for a brushless motor includes a mold(3), a plurality of orientation magnets(7), and an ejector pin(9). The molten material of the magnetic powder and the synthetic resin is injected into the mold. The plurality of orientation magnets are arranged along the circumference of a molding unit of the mold with a constant interval. The orientation magnet magnetizes the rotor(10) formed in the molding unit. The ejector pin is arranged between orientation magnets along an inner circumference of the molding unit. The ejector pin pressurizes the rotor. The rotor is separated from the mold. The ejector pin is a non-magnetic body and has a high speed steel.
