    • PURPOSE: A cellular phone is provided, so that many users can listen to telephone conversations and record the conversations together, by using a radio frequency(RF) transmission module to implement a speaker-phone function. CONSTITUTION: A cellular phone comprises an interface connector, a controller(102), and a radio frequency(RF) transmission adaptor. The interface connector outputs a voice signal to outside of the cellular phone. The controller outputs the voice signal generated according to telephone conversations through the interface connector, if the cellular phone is converted into a speaker-phone mode. The RF transmission adaptor has a RF transmission module(122). The RF transmission module has a connector for being connected with the interface connector. The RF transmission module demodulates the inputted voice signal to a RF signal preset in a receiving band of a radio receiver. The RF transmission module transmits the RF signal through an antenna(124). The RF transmission module has a frequency modulation(FM) system.

    • A bidirectional equalizer for improving equalization efficiency using viterbi decoder information and an equalizing method using the same are provided to improve equalizing efficiency by selecting only data symbol with a low error rate among data column outputted from a forward equalizer or a reverse equalizer by using a minimum path metric and outputting data row composed of selected data symbols. A bidirectional equalizer includes a forward viterbi decoder(150), a reverse viterbi decoder(160), a second time inverting operator(180), and a determiner(190). The forward viterbi decoder receives a first candidate data row. The forward viterbi decoder decodes the first candidate data row to a data symbol unit and outputs the decoded value by using the first minimum path metric calculated through the ML(Maximum Likelihood) method. The reverse viterbi decoder includes the second candidate data row. The reverse viterbi decoder decodes the second candidate data row to data symbol unit and outputs the decoded value by using the second minimum path metric calculated through the ML(Maximum Likelihood) method. The second time inverting operator inverts the order of the data row outputted from the reverse vitervi decoder and outputs the inverted value. The determiner compares the first minimum path metric and the second minimum path metric when outputting each data symbol. The determiner selects one of outputs of the second time inverting operator and the forward viterbi decoder according to the compared result.

    • PURPOSE: An equalizer used for a high definition television and an equalizing method are provided to increase a convergence speed of an inputted signal by inputting training sequence to an equalizer for a blind mode as well as for a training mode. CONSTITUTION: In the case that a predetermined equalizer output signal is not converged, an input signal recycling unit(410) inputs training sequence stored for a training mode to a predetermined filter(430) for a blind mode. The predetermined filter receives an output signal(OMUX2) of the input signal recycling unit, and corrects distortion of an inputted signal(INDATA) in response to a predetermined error signal(ERRV) and a predetermined decision value(DCSV) to output the corrected signal as an equalizer output signal(EQOUT). An error operation unit(465) receives the equalizer output signal for approximating the equalizer output signal to a certain approximate value to be output as the decision value. The error operation unit generates a difference between the equalizer output signal and the decision value as the error signal.
