    • A method of providing interoperability of heterogeneous network devices and a network device using the same are provided to rapidly perform interoperability without a limitation of characteristics or sorts of the devices. A network device of providing interoperability of heterogeneous network devices includes a test code generator(310), an interoperability determination part(325), an environment configuration part(340), and a function expansion module generator(350). The test code generator(310) generates a test code for a service to perform by using device information received from a service provider on a network. The interoperability determination part(325) transmits the test code to the service provider, receives a test code performance result from the service provider, and determines interoperability possibility for the service with the service provider by using the test code performance result. The environment configuration part(340) configures a proper environment for the interoperability with the service provider. The function expansion module generator(350) generates a function expansion module needed for the service provider to perform the interoperability by using the test code performance result when the test code performance result is fail.
