    • PURPOSE: A device for manufacturing a T-type connection unit using a hydro-forming method and a method thereof are provided to manufacture a T-type connection unit without a welded portion and to reduce the number of working processes, thereby improving the productivity and durability and reducing manufacturing costs. A cylindrical hollow pipe is arranged on the top of the lower mold. The upper mold is arranged over the lower mold and pressurizes the hollow pipe from the top. The lateral mold is interposed between the lower and upper molds and pressurizes the hollow pipe in both sides. The sealing member is arranged on one side of the lateral mold and seals a space between the upper and lower molds and a space between the both lateral molds. The fluid supplying member supplies fluid to the inside of the hollow pipe via the sealing member and the lateral molds. The punch forms a through-hole in the hollow pipe.
