    • PURPOSE: A solenoid valve is provided to reduce the water pressure area of an armature receiving high-pressure fluid from a high-pressure passage by forming a through-hole on the armature. CONSTITUTION: A solenoid valve comprises a main body (70), a coil (102), an armature (80), a valve part (82), and a valve seat (74). A high-pressure passage (76) is connected to the valve seat. When the valve part is placed on the valve seat, the high-pressure passage and a low-pressure passage are blocked. When the valve part is separated from the valve seat, the high-pressure passage and the low-pressure passage are connected to each other. A through-hole (86) is formed on the valve part in a moving direction of the armature. Sealing members (106,110) are inserted in the through-hole and are locked in the main body. The armature slides with the sealing members to move the placed and separated positions.
