    • A roller vibrating method is provided to implement a vibrating roller at low cost by placing cylindrical rollers between an inner race and an outer race of a rolling bearing so that one or both of the inner and outer races can move in the axial direction. A roller vibrating method comprises a step of mounting rolling bearings(11) on both sides of an axial support part of a roller(10), and a step of moving the roller in the axial direction according to the movement of a vibrating roller. Cylindrical rollers are placed between the inner or/and outer races of the rolling bearing. The width direction length of rolling bearing surface, facing the track surface of the cylindrical rollers, is 3~5mm longer than the width direction length of the cylindrical roller so that one or both of the inner and outer races can move in the axial direction.

    • A rolling bearing is provided to simplify construction, and to reduce manufacturing costs by including a collared inner ring, a collared outer ring and a cage of cylindrical rolls. A rolling bearing(11) to be fitted to either or both of shaft supporting sections of a roller(10) so as to allow the roller to oscillate comprises a collared inner ring, a collared outer ring and a cage of cylindrical rolls. A plurality of cylindrical rolls is arranged between the inner ring and the outer ring as rolling members. The transversal length of the surface of the inner ring and/or that of the surface of the outer ring facing the raceway surfaces of the cylindrical rolls being made greater than the axial length of the cylindrical rolls. The inner ring and/or the outer ring of the rolling bearing are/is adapted to move axially so as to allow the roller to oscillate.
