    • PURPOSE: To improve absorbing performance of vibration and impact by installing permanent magnets having the same magnetic poles opposed to upper and lower frames, connecting the mutual upper and lower frames by pantograph type links, and respectively locking a metallic spring on one of the links and a shock absorber on the other. CONSTITUTION: A suspension unit has a lower frame 2 installed on a car body floor and an upper frame 4 vertically movably installed on the lower frame 2 via a link mechanism, and two sets of pantograph type links including four arms 10a are used as the link mechanism. Both ends of a coil spring 26 are locked on a rotary shaft for connecting the respective two arms 10a of one pantograph type link, and both ends of a shock absorber are locked on a rotary shaft for connecting the respective two arms 10a of the other pantograph type link. A permanent magnet 40 is fixed to the front center of the lower frame 2, and a permanent magnet 42 having the same magnetic pole opposed to this permanent magnet 40 is fixed to the upper frame 4.
