    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slurry supply device and method which enable stable slurry supply.SOLUTION: A first slurry supply device 50A includes: a slurry container 4 which stores slurry; a supply device 5 which discharges a material, sucked from the suction side, from the discharge side; and a container installation position adjustment device 6 which has an installation part, on which the slurry container 4 is installed, and adjusts the height of the installation part. The suction side of the supply device 5 is connected to the slurry container 4 through a suction line 7 having a suction port 9 facing downward. The suction line 7 comprises a first suction line 7a having a predetermined length upward from the suction port 9 and a second suction line 7b connecting the outlet provided in the first suction line 7a and the suction side of the supply device 5 to each other. The suction port 9 is arranged at a position below the surface of slurry in an initial state.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique to absorb a radioactive substance, which simplifies pouring/drawing an absorbent into/from a container fastened in a divisible manner, and which removes a radioactive substance and prevents the absorbent from flowing out with an inexpensive treated water collecting device configured by combining multipurpose items.SOLUTION: A device for absorbing a radioactive substance according to the present invention comprises: a container 11 that is fastened in a divisible manner; an inlet-side screen 23, installed in the subsequent part of an inlet of this container 11, for diffusing provided treated water; an absorbent 24, poured into the container 11, for absorbing a radioactive substance from the treated water; a treated water collecting device 25, provided in the container 11, for collecting treated water treated by the absorbent 24; and a connecting pipe 23 for connecting a discharge side of this treated water collecting device 25 and an outlet pipe 32 connected to a treated water outlet line. The treated water collecting device 25 collects treated water treated by the absorbent 24 while preventing the absorbent 24 from flowing out, and discharges the treated water from the outlet pipe 32 to the treated water outlet line.
