    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transceiver element for an MRI apparatus which can bring a coil near a measurement location and obtain a high resolution image by high resolution measurement.
      SOLUTION: The transceiver element 1 for an MRI apparatus includes a transceiver coil 12 with a coil diameter not higher than 1 mm to radiate a high frequency magnetic field for generating nuclear magnetic resonance in the subject and the transceiver coil for receiving the nuclear magnetic resonance signal generated from the subject, a capacitor 13 to configure a resonance circuit together with the transceiver coil, switch means 14 to open/close the resonance circuit, and signal processing means including at least a filter 16 to process the nuclear magnetic resonance signal received by the transceiver coil. The transceiver coil is formed on a flexible film.
