    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric actuator capable of enhancing a resonant frequency of primary deflective oscillation, and to provide a driving device using the same. SOLUTION: The piezoelectric actuator is provided with an expansion/contraction displacement part, in which a first piezoelectric substance and a first plane electrode are alternately laminated and the first piezoelectric substance is polarized in a first direction vertical to the surface of the first plane electrode, and a shear displacement part, which is connected to the expansion/contraction displacement part in the first direction and in which a second piezoelectric substance and a second plane electrode are alternately laminated and the second piezoelectric substance is polarized in a second direction parallel to the second plane electrode. The length of the piezoelectric actuator in the first direction is made as L 1 mm and that of in the second direction as L 2 mm. When constants derived on the basis of the length and resonant frequency of the actual measurement regarding a rectangular piezoelectric actuator made of the same material as the piezoelectric actuator are made as a, b, and c, L 1 and L 2 satisfy the relational expression of 40 1 b × L 2 c .
