    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfy both requirements for increasing an optical path changing angle and for decreasing a filter incident angle.SOLUTION: A light transmission apparatus 10 includes: a semiconductor laser element 1a emitting a laser beam λa; a semiconductor laser element 1b emitting a laser beam λb; a wavelength separation filter 3b receiving the laser beams λa, λb and emitting a multiplexed beam λ1; and an optical fiber 5 for being coupled with the multiplexed beam λ1. The wavelength separation filter 3b includes a triangular prism 30 and a wavelength separation filter film 50. A front end face 31 and a rear end face 33 are non-parallel to each other so that a prism angle θp which is an angle where a plane parallel to the front end face 31 intersects with a plane parallel to the rear end face 33 forms an acute angle. The prism angle θp is an angle at which the multiplexed beam λ1 is oriented toward an optical axis of the optical fiber 5 by reflecting, to the front end face 31, the laser beam λb entering the triangular prism 30 from the front end face 31 with the wavelength separation filter film 50.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wavelength division multiplex receiver module which can be easily assembled at a low cost.SOLUTION: A wavelength division multiplex receiver module comprises: an optical fiber 14 for emitting optical signals including light of multiple wavelengths; a prism 18 arranged so that the optical signals are incident thereon; a total reflection mirror 18a fastened on a first surface of the prism 18; a band pass filter 18b fastened on a second surface facing the first surface of the prism; and a light receiving element 26 for receiving light which has passed through the band pass filter 18b. The first surface is angled against the second surface. Wavelength of light capable of passing through the band pass filter 18b is different depending on an incident angle of the light, and the band pass filter 18b reflects light which can not pass.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that in a preamplifier circuit of an optical receiver, it is necessary to prevent an excessive input to an amplifier circuit by bypassing part of a current of a PD (photo diode), however, a bypass circuit added for such a purpose is constructed using an active device such as a resistor or a transistor or a non-linear device such as a diode, resulting in deterioration in the frequency flatness in a signal band.
      SOLUTION: A preamplifier includes a current signal, a differential amplifier wherein the current signal is input to one of the input terminals thereof, and a threshold voltage generating means which is connected to the other input terminal of the differential amplifier and generates a threshold voltage of the differential amplifier. Between the differential amplifier and the threshold voltage generating means, a multi-filter circuit having two or more different time constants is connected.
