SOLUTION: The bath water heater includes a bath hot water supply line 80 having a bath hot water mixing valve 70 for providing hot water of a desired temperature by mixing hot water with water; a bath circulation line 90 connecting the bath hot water supply line 80 to a bathtub 160 and having a mixing circulation pump 88 for circulating hot water between the bathtub 160 and the hot water supply line 80; an input receiving part which receives a setting input of hot water temperature of bath water 160a and an input of hot water adding function for supplying high-temperature hot water from the hot water supply line 80 to the bathtub 160; a hot water addition control part which adjusts, upon receipt of the input of hot water adding function, the mixing valve 70 so that an additional hot water higher in temperature than the bath water 160a can be obtained and supplies the additional hot water to the bath water 160a; and a circulation control part which operates the mixing circulation pump 88 when the supply of additional hot water to the bath water 160a is stopped.
