    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a combustion characteristics of an internal combustion engine from deteriorating when the intake pressure changes in an internal combustion engine equipped with a blow-by gas reducing device which continuously or stepwisely regulates a blow-by gas flow rate by a PCV valve. SOLUTION: When an operation of an internal combustion engine has been detected to be in a transient state based on a variation of an estimated intake air pressure dlmv (YES at S110), a target PCV flow rate qpcv is set which has been obtained by correcting a target PCV flow rate decrease correction volume cqpcv (S114, S116) to decrease a PCV valve opening degree. In the transient state of the operation of the internal combustion engine, therefore, even if the blow-by gas flow rate increases by a decrease in the intake pressure in a position of an outlet of the blow-by gas, the increase is prevented by decrease in the PCV valve opening degree. As a result, the combustion characteristics of the internal combustion engine is prevented from deteriorating when the intake pressure changes, thus preventing the drivability and the exhaust air components from deteriorating in a vehicle.
