    • A technique of measuring the concentration of a specific component in a sample liquid by using a measuring instrument 2. The measuring instrument 2 used comprises first through third detection elements 31a-33a that measure electric physical quantities and are arranged in this order in the moving direction of the sample liquid. A concentration measuring method comprises the first detection step of detecting whether or not liquid junction occurs between the first and second detection elements 31a, 32a, the second detection step of detecting whether or not liquid junction occurs between the second and third detection elements 31a, 33a, the measuring step of measuring electric physical quantities by using the first-third detection elements 31a-33a, and the computing step of computing the concentration of a specific component based on electric physical quantities. A concentration measuring device 1 for implementing this concentration measuring method is also provided.
