摘要： A processor within a digital camera which generates and utilizes a recipe data file and communicates with a network-based storage location for uploading and downloading. The recipe data file contains both a device setting template component, used to set camera-specific parameters, and an instructional component, which the processor uses to generate visual and audible instructions for positioning and aiming the camera. Visual instructions are provided directly on the viewfinder display. The processor uses on-board GPS and compass or gyroscope to obtain real-time position and pointing direction of the camera.

摘要： A remote control apparatus for communicating with a target device includes: a sensing portion for sensing points of user contact with the apparatus, user gestures, and an acceleration value of the apparatus; a transmitting device for sending signals representative of user commands to the target device; a controller; and a memory including instructions for configuring the controller to perform a self-orientation process based upon at least one of the acceleration value and the points of user contact to determine a forward direction of a plane of operation for defining the user gestures. An axis of the determined plane of operation substantially intersects the apparatus at any angle.

摘要： A method for managing multiple generations of an object within a distributed storage system is implemented at a computing device. The computing device receives metadata and content of a first generation of an object from a first client connected to the distributed storage system and stores the first generation's metadata and content within a first storage sub-system. The computing device receives metadata and content of a second generation of the object from a second client connected to the distributed storage system and stores the second generation's metadata and content within a second storage sub-system. The computing device independently replicates the first generation's metadata and content from the first storage sub-system to the second storage sub-system and replicates the second generation's metadata and content from the second storage sub-system to the first storage sub-system such that both storage sub-systems include a replica of the object's first and second generations.
