摘要： A network of nanowires may be used for a sensor. The nanowires are metallic, each nanowire has a thickness of at most 20 nm, and each nanowire has a width of at most 20 nm. The sensor may include nanowires comprising Pd, and the sensor may sense a change in hydrogen concentration from 0 to 100%. A device may include the hydrogen sensor, such as a vehicle, a fuel cell, a hydrogen storage tank, a facility for manufacturing steel, or a facility for refining petroleum products.

The metal film is being on the threshold of percolation and is connected to mechanism for sensing a change in electrical resistance in response to the presence of hydrogen in contact with the metal film which causes an increase in conductivity.

摘要： This invention provides ways to fabricate nanotubes and nanobead arrays by utilizing nanopores in anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) membranes. Nanotubes of bismuth and other low melting point metals with controlled diameters and lengths can be fabricated by sintering AAO coated with appropriate metals at temperatures above their melting points. Carbon nanotubes may also be readily formed by carbonizing a polymer on the interior walls of the nanopores in AAO membranes. Palladium nanobead arrays which can be used as ultrafast hydrogen sensors are fabricated by coating the flat surface of AAO membranes with controlled pore-wall ratios.

摘要： Disclosed is a data caching system and a method for implementing a large capacity cache. The system includes: a record processing apparatus and a record storage apparatus which is configured with a first storage unit configured in a disk unit, a second storage unit and a third storage unit. The record processing apparatus is configured with a record inserting unit; the record inserting unit is adapted to store a record to be cached which comprises one or more data blocks into the first storage unit; the record inserting unit is further adapted to obtain addressing information of each data block of the record to be cached, configure one or more data block nodes in the second storage unit, and store the addressing information in the corresponding data block nodes; and the record inserting unit is further adapted to configure an index node in the third storage unit for the record to be cached, and establish an addressing relationship between the index node and the one or more data blocks of the record to be cached. The method and system provided by the present invention divide information related to the record into three parts according to their functions and store them separately, which sufficiently considers the characteristics of the cache.
