摘要： A method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided for wireless communication at a UE, e.g., associated with a host vehicle. The apparatus transmits a message comprising at least one of a lane change request or a lane space reservation and monitors for a response to the message. An apparatus at a first UE associated with a remote vehicle receives a message comprising at least one of a lane change request or a lane space reservation from a second UE. The apparatus determines whether to accept the lane change request or the lane space reservation from the second UE and transmits a response to the message accepting or rejecting the lane change request or the lane space reservation.

摘要： Techniques for associating an electronic identifier of a user equipment (UE) with a user of the UE are described. In embodiments of an apparatus, system, method, and computer program of the present disclosure, a UE may transmit an electronic identifier associated with the UE via peer discovery, for receiving by a second UE. A perceivable cue associated with the electronic identifier may be indicated to a second user. The UE or the user of the UE may indicate the perceivable cue to the second user. Selection of the perceivable cue by the second user may cause the initiation of communications between the UE and the second UE.

A module intercepts messages within a device which include a first identifier, e.g., a service, application, device or other identifier which is to be communicated or which is to be monitored for in the case of a device seeking something. A second identifier corresponding to the information to be communicated or item or service being sought is generated. The second identifier is transmitted in the case of an advertisement or monitored for in the case of the device seeking something. Following a second device establishing a communications connection in response to an advertisement, stored information such as all or a portion of the first identifier is transmitted over the established connection. A device seeking an item or service, in response to detecting the second identifier, establishes a connection with the second device. The second identifier maybe shorter than the first identifier.

摘要： A user equipment (UE) may detect a collision or interference issues of a second UE and transmit information regarding the detected collision to a base station. The second UE may not able to sense the channel on its own and thus may inadvertently use resources already reserved or in use by other UEs. The information regarding the detected collision may include layer-1 identifiers (L1 IDs) and/or layer-2 identifiers (L2 IDs) corresponding to the UE and/or the second UE as well as additional information corresponding to the resource collision. This information may be usable by the base station in determining that the base station has previously communicated with the second UE and may trigger a resource reselection by the second UE. The UE may receive sidelink communications on one or more reselected sidelink transmission resources from the second UE.

摘要： Methods and apparatus for improved monitoring and tracking of communications devices, e.g., peer to peer devices, using assistance from WAN elements such as base stations, are described. In some embodiments, a wireless terminal requests peer to peer communications discovery assistance from one or more base stations. In some embodiments, the request includes information identifying peer communications discovery information the wireless terminal is seeking to detect. In some embodiments, upon receiving the request, nearby base stations listen to the common discovery channel and upon detecting the specified discovery information, send a response indicating the detection of the discovery information and a proximate location of the announcing peer device, to the wireless terminal. The wireless terminal can use the received information to locate and page the announcing peer via the base station serving the announcing peer. Location tracking of peer devices is facilitated and peer-to-peer communication setup time may be reduced.

摘要： A communications device synchronizes itself with respect to an external reference signal, e.g., a GPS signal. The communications device detects timing reference signals, e.g., beacon signals, from a communications network. If the communications device determines that the network is not synchronized to the external timing reference signal, the communications device operates as a master timing control device. In various embodiments, when operating as a master timing control device the wireless communications device communicates time stamps, e.g., in beacon signals, which indicate a greater passage of time than the actual passage of time. When operating as a master timing control device the communications device transmits network timing reference signals at a higher rate than is being used by the network to seize control of network timing and become the master timing control device. The communications device drives the network timing to synchronize network timing to the external timing reference.
