    • The present invention provides an auxiliary tool for assembling a motor assembly to a wafer-deposition machine for supporting a wafer. The auxiliary tool facilitates easy and quick assembly of the motor assembly to the wafer-deposition machine. An aspect of the present invention is directed to an auxiliary tool for assembling a motor assembly to a wafer-deposition machine, wherein the motor assembly includes a plurality of first screw holes and the wafer-deposition machine includes a plurality of second screw holes corresponding to the first screw holes, respectively. The auxiliary tool comprises a plurality of locking members each having a substantially uniform dimension in a longitudinal direction and being configured to be inserted through one of the plurality of first screw holes of the motor assembly with a corresponding one of the plurality of second screw holes of the wafer-deposition machine to align the first screw hole with the corresponding second screw hole. The auxiliary tool further comprises a plurality of supporting members. At least one supporting member is releasably coupled to each of the plurality of locking members to support the motor assembly with respect to the wafer-deposition machine to keep the locking member inserted through the first screw hole and the corresponding second screw hole and to maintain alignment of the first screw hole and the corresponding second screw hole.

    • A fluorescent lamp and ballast assembly is designed to thermally isolate a ballast circuit from the illuminated lamp and thereby reduce the heat surrounding the ballast circuit. The fluorescent lamp of the assembly is attached to a housing that reduces the heat transferred to the ballast circuit. The housing includes a bowl-shaped member, a shield, and a thermal isolation member connected between the bowl-shaped member and the shield. The bowl-shaped member is designed to hold and encircle the electronic ballast circuit, and the shield is designed to engage and secure the fluorescent lamp and attached cathode lead wires of the invention. The thermal isolation member is connected between the bowl-shaped member and the shield, and provides an air gap between the lamp and the ballast circuit. The air gap allows ventilation between the lamp and the ballast circuit and also provides a greater distance between the lamp and the ballast circuit to protect the ballast circuit from the heat generated by the energized lamp.

    • A composite mouse assembly for a computer includes a mouse case. A computer interface encoder is contained in the mouse case. A positional sensor is connected to the interface encoder for controlling a screen indicator used for selecting menu items appearing on a display screen of the computer. A wireless remote control device is connected to the positional sensor and includes a plurality of user-activated direction control keys for transmitting digital serial encoded signals. A receiver unit is contained in the mouse case for receiving and amplifying the digital signals transmitted by the remote control device. A decoder is provided for interpreting the digital signals transferred by the receiver unit into one of a plurality digital direction control signals corresponding to the direction control keys of the remote control device. A converter converts the digital direction control signals to analog signals. The analog signals are transferred to respective input ports of the positional sensor of the interface encoder to control the position of the indicator on the display screen.

    • An assembly station for a sputter shield assembly provides a work bench for assembling and disassembling the sputter shield assembly. The shield assembly has a clamp shield facing downwards to hold the shield assembly which is turned over by 180 degrees, and includes at least three bottom rim support arms for supporting the clamp shield and bearing the weight of the shield assembly, and at least three inner rim retaining arms for contacting the inner rim formed by the shield and the clamp shield.
