摘要： This invention relates generally to mixing devices, and more specifically to a mixing device for forage and similar product. In order to provide a balanced diet for cattle and other livestock it is often necessary to mix together different types of forage (e.g. straw, hay, corn, etc.). Rotary-type tumblers have been employed for this purpose. The above-described arrangement for loading the mixing chamber is quite inefficient. First, the loading operation is speed limited by the capacity of the auger feeding system. Secondly, virtually nothing happens to the forage during the period of time it is being directed by the auger to the rear of the mixing chamber. This invention relates to a mixing device for forage and similar product includes a rotatably mounted, inclined mixing chamber having a rear axial end lower than a forward axial end thereof. The rear axial end is sealed, and the forward end has a forage receiving opening into which forage can be directed. A peripheral mixing zone of the chamber is provided with substantially linear mixing vanes extending longitudinally along an interior wall of the mixing chamber. These vanes project radially inwardly for engaging and tumbling forage when the chamber is rotated. A rotatably mounted auger extends axially within the chamber and is surrounded by an axially extending tubular housing that separates the auger from the mixing zone. However, the auger does communicate with the rear axial end of the mixing zone through a rear opening in the housing for receiving forage from the mixing zone and feeding it toward, and out of a forward axial end of the housing.

Inductor - alternators.- Both ends of the high-tension winding 2 of an ignition dynamo are connected to separate sparking-plugs 23, 24 so that two sparks are produced simultaneously; the arrangement may be used on a two-cylinder engine having cylinders 180 degrees apart. The armature is stationary, a rotating or oscillating member being used to produce the tlux alternations. The terminals 7, 8 of the low-tension winding 1 are mounted upon an insulating coil-head 6 and are connected to a condenser 25 and interrupter 26. The high-tension terminals 9, 10 are riveted to a plate 14 of mica &c., which is secured to the coil by a layer of tape 4; the terminals have pointed portions 11, 12 forming a safety spark-gap. The ends 15, 16 of the terminals embrace the coil-heads and also form contact surfaces for the brushes 17, 18 which are joined to the cables 21, 22 leading to the sparking-plugs 23, 24. The terminal members 19, 20 are mounted upon the cover plates 27, 28.

The mixing materials are substantially dry and may include a substantially unfibrillated binder and a carbon material. The method includes extruding the mixing materials via a twin screw extruder to form an extruded mixture that is substantially dry. In one embodiment, the substantially dry mixture exiting the extruder may be further processed to form an electrode material, such as by a calendaring step.

摘要： Disclosed are techniques for modifying electrical stimulation or another type of therapy provided to a patient by a medical device. Modification of therapy may include adjustment of one or more therapy parameter values that define one or more characteristics of stimulation therapy delivered to a patient. The therapy modification may be based on activity of a patient that is detected by an IMD, such as a change in a detected posture state occupied by the patient. Different therapy modifications may be applied for different changes in detected posture state. An IMD may modify therapy based on a transition from one posture state to another posture state, and apply different modifications for different transitions. In some aspects, the modification may include a profile, such as a ramp up or ramp down in a parameter value over a period of time. The profile may be different for different posture state transitions.

摘要： An implantable medical lead includes a proximal portion having first and second contacts. The lead further includes a first distal arm having a first electrode that is electrically coupled to the first contact, and includes a second distal arm having a second electrode that is electrically coupled to the second contact. The lead also includes a branch region where the proximal portion transitions to the first and second distal arms. A tissue anchoring element is attached to the branch region for securing the branch region to tissue of a patient into which the lead is implanted. Such bifurcated leads may be used to apply electrical signals to occipital nerves of the patient via the electrodes. A lead extension includes a distal connector with two lead receptacles and a tissue anchoring element attached to the connector. An adaptor having three lead receptacles includes an anchoring element attached thereto.

The lead also includes first and second contacts located at the proximal portion of the lead body, and includes first and second electrodes located at the distal portion of the lead body. 摘要： A system and method for activating services on a wireless device are provided that improve a user's experience and ease of activation/provisioning of services for the wireless device by providing a new provisioning channel for service activations. A user is simply required to input a short activation code(s) into the wireless device which is combined into an activation message along with other device-related information that is automatically retrieved from the wireless device. The generated activation message is then transmitted over the messaging provisioning channel accessible by inactive and/or unprovisioned wireless devices for delivery to a remote site for use in activating services on the wireless device. The services to be activated may include at least one of the following: out of the box activation, device upgrades, device reactivations, wireless number changes, wireless number porting, and the addition or purchasing of services including airtime, enrollments or content.

A target bit rate for re- compressing the scene is selected based on the maximum target bit rate, and compression parameters for the scene are determined based on the scene's compression statistics and the selected target bit rate.
