    • A system with context detection and transfer prediction and early-preparation ability to reduce user waiting delay in a data communication network comprise of one source terminal UE who possesses the session that can send its device information to application server; one application server that can detect dynamic context of all devices related to the ongoing session and can predict possible transfer; one transfer target terminal UE that can cooperate with application server to accomplish early transfer preparation. These apparatus are connected through IMS platform, regardless of subscriptions. A method that device information is provided; application server monitors real time status of devices and predict potential media/session transfer based on context; application server indicates target device and/or remote party preparing for possible transfer; once preparation done, source device is asked whether to transfer the media or session. UE may also perform context detection and prediction, but eventually preparation is done through server. From this procedure, user will not see any delay when he agrees to transfer media or session to another device.

    • A system with ability to consolidate terminal mobility status and predict potentially matched offloading peers which enables optimized peer selection is presented. The system comprises of a mobility information table that iterated among peers to gather their status information; one terminal device who can predict the possibility of a peer offloading to the same local network based on mobility information table; one P2P tracker application server that provides general control on the P2P sessions; one P2P peer that understands its mobility capacity and instant offloading status. The invention proposes a method that tracker server distributes an information table with a set of peers sharing the same content; the set of peers updates their offloading status and capacity whenever changes happened; the set of peers use consolidated information table to perform peer re-selection during the P2P session; finalized information table is updated to P2P tracker application server for future use. In the invention, server is blind to offloading techniques but only offers overall traffic control.Information gathering and decision making are completed at terminal side.
