    • An apparatus for detecting manufacturing parameters of a machine tool is provided, which comprises at least a sensing and transmitting module, and a receiving module. The sensing and transmitting module has a sensor and a wireless transmitting module. The sensor generates a sensing signal with respect to processing parameter of the machine tool. The wireless transmitting module converts the sensing signal into a wireless signal and transmits the wireless signal to the receiving module. Then the wireless signal is decoded and sent to a processing unit for compensating the machine tool. In the present invention, it is not necessary to consider wiring arrangement so that the sensors can be disposed at positions that are close to the mechanism whose operating status could affect the machining process and the compensation, generated according to the foregoing sensing data, for machine tool will be more effective to improve the machining accuracy.

    • An automatic breakthrough detection device for drilling electric discharge machine is provided. The automatic breakthrough detection device utilizing the facts of the variations of high frequency spectrum components of the provided discharge voltage and the variation of servo-feed-rate of the electrode as drilling discharge. The device includes a high frequency spectrum detecting analyzer to produce digital logic determining signals and a breakthrough judging logic device to judge the breakthrough by the electrode on the workpiece. Accordingly, the drilling electric discharge machine automatically adjusts the discharge parameters and the electrode withdrawals from the drilled hole and continues the next drilling hole on the workpiece. The present invention also provides a method of the same.

    • An apparatus and method is provided for use on an electric discharging machine to enhance the working efficiency of the electric discharging machine. The apparatus and method are directed to the control of the ignition delay time of the ignition voltage used to ignite the electric discharges applied to the workpiece for machining the workpiece. The apparatus and method are directed to the objective of making the duty factor as close to unity as possible. The apparatus and method are characterized in that the average discharge voltage is computed by the CNC (computer numerical control) unit instead of an analog voltage averaging circuit as in the prior art. The average discharge voltage is then used for the determination of the average ignition delay time to accordingly adjust the gain of the servo control loop of the discharging. The electric discharging machine then detects the ignition delay time to accordingly adjust the magnitude of the ignition voltage and the length of the discharge off-time. Moreover, the electric discharging machine is capable of detecting whether the number of consecutive occurrences of arcing reaches a preset number; if yes, the electric discharging machine will perform a residue cleaning process. Moreover, the electric discharging machine is capable of detecting whether a short-circuit occurs; and, if yes, the electric discharging machine will immediately stop the machining process.
