The reading unit reads a color of each of plural objects. The color value calculation unit calculates a color value of the color of each read object. The reading period measurement unit measures a time period during which the reading unit reads each object. The color value storage unit stores the color value calculated and time period information indicating the time period measured, for each object. The color value creation unit creates a new color value based on the color values of the plurality of objects and the time period information stored in the color value storage unit. The color value output unit outputs the new color value created.
