摘要： A self-assembly structure of micro electromechanical optical switch utilizes residual stresses of three curved beams. The first curved beam pushes the base plate away from the substrate. The second curved beam lifts up the mirror slightly. Then, the third curved beam rotates the mirror vertical to the base plate and achieves self-assembly. In another embodiment, magnetic force and magnetic-activated elements are used.

摘要： The present invention provides a field emission system and a method for improving its vacuum. The present invention employs aging surface-unsaturated carbon nanotubes in non-display areas of the field emission system as getter material to absorb residual gas within the system so as to improve its vacuum. The present method for improving vacuum of the field emission system can be integrated with the standard process of a field emission display device without additional fabricating steps, and thus facilitating the mass production of the field emission display device.

摘要： An axially actuating device having an elastic joining portion is provided, which is used for carrying an object and actuating the object to move axially, and comprises a fixed portion, a moving portion, and a joining member. The joining member is used to combine the fixed portion with the moving portion, such that the fixed portion and the moving portion are axially coupled with each other. Moreover, the fixed portion and the moving portion are respectively a fixed magnet and a coil, such that when a current is applied to the moving portion, the moving portion generates a relative displacement with respect to the fixed portion according to the current, so as to provide an axial displacement. Meanwhile, the moving energy is generated due to the repulsive interaction of the magnetic field, and thus a shock proofing efficacy is also provided.
