    • An electrostatic discharge protection circuit for liquid crystal displays. The liquid crystal display includes a plurality of crossing gate and data lines on a first substrate and a data shorting line and a gate shorting line. A plurality of first ESD protection units connect the gate shorting line to the gate lines, and a plurality of second ESD protection units connect the data shorting line to the data lines. Third ESD protection units connect the gate shorting line to the data shorting line. A common electrode is formed on a second substrate. A fourth ESD protection unit directly connects the common electrode to the data shorting line.

    • A circuit for converting frame data is disclosed, in which data communications can be carried out by matching the T1 repeater line of the North American method and the E1 repeater line of the CEPT. The four 32-channel frame data of the E1 line of the CEPT method are converted into parallel data of 8-bit one channel, and are stored into four 64-byte buffers. The stored 32-channel frame data are read out by 24 channels at a time, while the remaining data of the 6 channels are added to the data which have been stored in the buffers. Thus five 24-channel frame data are converted into serial data before being outputted. Of the five 24-channel frame data of the T1 repeater line of the North American method, four 24-channel frame data are stored into four 64-byte buffers, while the remaining one 24-channel frame data are separated by 6 so as to store them into the four 64-byte buffers, so that the four 64-byte buffers can store the 32-channel data respectively. The 32-channel data which have been stored in the four 64-byte buffers are sequentially read out, and then, are converted into serial data before outputting them.

    • A system for testing a power durability of a SAW filter includes: a signal generator for generating a continuous wave of an oscillator; a high power amplifier for amplifying a signal applied from the signal generator into a target power level; a power durability tester (PDT) for receiving the amplified signal from the high power amplifier and monitoring a power applied to a SAW filter, and setting a path for monitoring an electrical property through a network analyzer; a power meter for measuring an output signal of the PDT; a controller for changing a path to monitor an electric property of the PDT; the network analyzer for analyzing an electrical property of the SAW filter; a reliability tester for applying a test temperature to the SAW filter and maintaining the applied test temperature; a thermal meter for measuring a temperature of the SAW filter; a temperature controller for controlling a test temperature applied to the reliability tester; and a computer for controlling the signal generator, the power meter, the network analyzer, the controller, the temperature controller, and the thermal meter.
