摘要： A camera, connectible to a CCTV network, includes a camera lens and image sensor. as well as an analog video input connector that receives analog image signals corresponding to views from outside the camera. An image processing circuit outputs image signal data of the image sensor, and a video conversion circuit outputs image signal data of the analog image signals. The image signal data is stored on a storage device. A microcontroller controls the circuits, and a network adapter connects to an internet-protocol address corresponding to a network device capable of serving files. The microcontroller selectively transmits image signal data of the image sensor or transmits image signal data of the analog video input connector from the storage device to the network device using the network adapter and the internet-protocol address.

摘要： A method of transmitting digital image signal data from a standalone device includes input image signals corresponding to views from outside the standalone device. Digital image signal data, corresponding to the input image signals, are output. The standalone device is permitted to connect to an internet-protocol network by setting an internet-protocol address for the standalone device itself. On the network, the digital image signal data is packetized and addressing of the packetized digital image signal data for the internet-protocol network is controlled, with a transport control protocol. The method includes self-initiating a connection with the network in response to a triggering signal on at least one alarm trigger input of a plurality of input/output terminals. An E-mail message is assembled including report information related to the triggering signal and digital image signal data corresponding to the views from outside the standalone device, and transmitted to an E-mail address via the transport control protocol and the internet-protocol network.

摘要： A laser scanning unit emits a laser beam for scanning a surface within a predetermined scanning range. The laser scanning unit has a laser diode, and a laser diode controller for controlling the laser diode to emit the laser beam. The laser beam has an intensity set in accordance with image data corresponding to one of a plurality of predetermined graduation steps within an intensity range defined by a first intensity and a second intensity greater than the first intensity. The laser scanning unit is further provided with a first adjusting system for adjusting the first intensity to become a first predetermined intensity, and a second adjusting system for adjusting the second intensity to become a second predetermined intensity. One of the first adjusting system and the second adjusting system is actuated during each scanning operation, and are actuated alternately during successive scanning operations.

The image signal includes information about gradation levels of an image to be formed by the scanning device on a photoconductive surface. A first control circuit sets a first intensity value of the beam corresponding to a minimum gradation level of the image to be formed, and a second circuit sets a second intensity value of the beam corresponding to a maximum gradation level of the image to be formed. A driving circuit drives the laser diode such that the intensity of the beam is determined in accordance with the image signal and a difference between the first intensity value and the second intensity value.
