    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in a conventional floor tile in a floor tile laying method wherein floor tiles are laid while keeping a clearance between the floor tile and the adjacent floor tile, and a joint material is required for the clearance, but cracking and separation occur to the joint, and an execution process only for the joint part is essential and furthermore construction is hard in the case of repair, and when tiling again after removing the tile, that part may be conspicuous.
      SOLUTION: The floor tile and the adjacent floor tile are laid overlapping by several millimeters by forming the side face shape of the floor tile obliquely. With this overlap, the conventional joint part clearance can be eliminated, and cracking and separation of the joint part are eliminated as a matter of course.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice polishing machine which is usable in the sink, makes it possible to save water and shorten time, allows rice polishing without putting the hand into cold water, is trouble-free and facilitates maintenance.
      SOLUTION: This rice polishing machine has the outer kettle 1, an upper cap 2 screwed to the outer kettle 1 and an inner kettle 3 freely attachably and detachably mounted within the outer kettle. The upper cap 2 comprises a frame 5 in such a manner that a pouring port 4 for pouring the water may be formed in the inner kettle 3. A motor 6 is freely removably mounted at the frame and a revolving shaft 7 of the motor is extended toward the inner kettle 3. The bottom end of the revolving shaft 7 is provided with rotary vanes 8 for polishing the rice within the polishing water poured from the pouring port 4 when the inner kettle 3 is mounted within the outer kettle 1. The inner kettle 3 is provided with drain ports 9, 10 capable of adjusting a water level according to the rice polishing amt. for the purpose of draining the polishing water poured from the pouring port 4.

    • A thermal transfer recording medium comprises a substrate and an ink layer formed on the substrate. The ink layer comprises a first dye having a light absorption peak which has a maximum absorption wavelength, .lambda..sub.max, of 420 to 500 nm and a half-value width of at least 100 nm, and a second dye having a light absorption peak which which has a maximum absorption wavelength, .lambda..sub.max, of 570 to 650 nm and a half-value width of at least 100 nm. The ink layer may further comprise a third dye having a light absorption peak whose maximum absorption wavelength, .lambda..sub.max, of 500 to 550 nm and/or a fourth dye having a light absorption peak whose maximum absorption wavelength, .lambda..sub.max, of 620 to 680 nm. When a density-graded indication is made using the thermal transfer recording medium, there can be obtained images whose black hue shift is small in all the density range.

    • An image displaying device which is able to prevent the occurrence of fluctuations in the picture which is projected on the screen, even if some positional fluctuations have occurred in the movie film. The optical axis correcting means is provided on the optical path of the transmitted light which has been obtained from the light source via the movie film, and also the detecting means is provided for detecting the quantity of the displacement from the base position at the time the movie film has stopped on the basis of the travel-synchronizing holes which have been formed in the longitudinal direction of the movie film, whereby the optical axis correcting means is able to change the angle of the optical axis of the transmitted light, according to the result of detection obtained from the detecting means, on the basis of drive controlling by the driving means. As a result the optical axis can be corrected. Thus, an image displaying device can be realized which is able to prevent the occurrence of fluctuations in the picture which is projected on the screen, even if some positional fluctuations have occurred in the movie film.
