    • Provided is a cosmetic including silicone microparticles, in which the silicone microparticles include 100 parts by mass of silicone elastomer spherical microparticles having a volume average particle diameter within a range from 0.1 to 100 μm, and 0.5 to 25 parts by mass of a polyorganosilsesquioxane that coats a surface of the silicone elastomer spherical microparticles, and the silicone elastomer is capable of absorbing not less than 30 parts by mass of at least one oily substance selected from the group consisting of sebum, hydrocarbon oils and ester oils per 100 parts by mass of the silicone elastomer. Even if containing an unctuous agent, the cosmetic exhibits favorable feelings upon use, with no spreading difficulties, stickiness, greasiness, oily film feeling, or the like, and is also capable of suppressing problems caused by sebum, namely, changes in the makeup cosmetic properties of the cosmetic, changes in the color of the cosmetic, increased shine, and the like.

    • Provided are silicone microparticles including 100 parts by mass of silicone elastomer spherical microparticles having a volume average particle diameter within a range from 0.1 to 100 μm, and 0.5 to 25 parts by mass of a polyorganosilsesquioxane that coats the surface of the silicone elastomer spherical microparticles, in which the silicone elastomer is capable of absorbing not less than 200 parts by mass of a polymethylsiloxane having a viscosity at 25° C. of not more than 10 mm2/s per 100 parts by mass of the silicone elastomer. These silicone microparticles are capable of absorbing a large amount of the above types of polymethylsiloxanes, which represent low-viscosity silicones, and can therefore suppress the greasiness, stickiness, and oily film feeling of cosmetic materials containing this type of polymethylsiloxane. The silicone microparticles can be produced by hydrolyzing and condensing an organotrialkoxysilane in a water medium, in the presence of the above silicone elastomer spherical microparticles and an alkaline material, thereby coating the surface of the silicone elastomer spherical microparticles with a polyorganosilsesquioxane.

    • An object of the present invention is to provide a coating agent capable of giving a coating film having excellent adhesion to the base surface, and exhibiting excellent releasability with good surface lubricity. The coating agent comprises a water-base resin composition containing the following components A and B: component A: a curable silicone composition composed of: component (A-1): an organopolysiloxane in which a group selected from among a hydroxyl group and groups represented by the formula R1O— (where R1 is a monovalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms), and a group represented by the following formula (1):  are bonded to the same silicon atom at two or more terminals of the polysiloxane chain, component (A-2): an alkoxy silane compound or a partial hydrolysis-condensation product thereof, and component (A-3): a condensation catalyst in an amount of 0 to 10 mass parts per 100 mass parts of the total amount of the components (A-1) and (A-2); and component B: a polyurethane resin.

    • The invention provides a coating composition for rubbers which forms a coating film having excellent adhesion to the rubber surface as well as excellent wear resistance and surface lubricity. The composition is an aqueous resin composition containing 100 parts by weight of the component (A), 10 to 100 parts by weight of the component (B) and 5 to 150 parts by weight of the component (C): wherein the component (A) is a curable silicone composition consisting of (A-1) which is an organopolysiloxane in which a group selected from the group consisting of a hydroxyl group and groups represented by the formula R1O— (R1 is a monovalent hydrocarbon group), and a group represented by the formula (1), below are bonded to each of at least two terminal silicon atoms of a polysiloxane chain: (A-2) which is an alkoxysilane and, optionally, (A-3) which is a metal compound as a condensation catalyst; component (B) which is a polyurethane resin; and component (C) which is an organic resin fine powder having a melting point of 150° C. or higher and an average particle diameter of 0.5 to 50 μm.
